KUA, OUC and Ocala Joint Practice 2004

KUA, OUC & Ocala met on 3/15/04 for a day of joint practice in preparation for the FMEA Lineman's Competition to be held this Saturday in Ocala. The employees made the arrangements to meet and the companies allowed them to participate. Some were reluctant to let them all meet.

Participants include 2 apprentices from KUA, 2 apprentices from OUC, 2 teams from KUA, 2 teams from OUC and 1 team fro Ocala plus additional support personnel from KUA.

Comments made included: "what an opportunity" "good fun" "awesome experience" "fosters goodwill and personal growth" "we have a mutual agreement to help each other in storm situations and this makes things that much easier when you know who you're going to work along side" " we're even learning a few tricks from our own" " this day is all about trying things new - some work and others don't"

Bill Groover - " It really says something about the employees and the companies when they can train together on Monday and then compete on Saturday."

Bruce Thompson - " It's really neat being able to get together to learn and help each other."
